You Selfish, Evil, So-Called Christians
The Rapture Lie
Funny how last week loads of people thought that they would be raptured and thought to first make videos. These videos told people what t-shirts to wear and to remember to unlock their phones so that their loved ones can access them. Some people even bragged about how they were going to be raptured and left a message that pretty much said, “Sucks to be you.”
But what bothers me is that none of those people thought to get a “well done, my good and faithful servant” upon their arrival into the clouds.
If this were your last chance to please God or to help fellow humans know him, wouldn’t you go out and shout to the world, “Behold, the Lamb of God”?
Why weren’t the streets filled with people holding up signs telling the world to “repent, our redemption draws nigh”? Why tell Christians what t-shirts to wear but not tell sinners the time has come to repent? Honestly? How could anyone let their neighbor suffer hell if that’s what they thought was about to happen?
I’ve even heard that some people sold everything they had. Why would you sell it? Why not just give it all away? You won’t need the money in heaven. Why worry about giving any of it away at all? I wouldn’t care who got what if I were about to be with Jesus. Just let it all go and let people fight over it. How about going out and finding homeless people and letting them have your house keys? First, warn them about what was about to happen and let them come home to have dinner with you. Let them have a shower and a shave and welcome the Lord, knowing that you were a good Samaritan.
People Who Haven’t Read the Bible
Well, my answer to all the above is that none of those people waiting to be airlifted into the clouds has read the Bible. If they had, they would have known that no one is going to be able to figure out the time or day when Christ returns. None of them actually believes that the coming of Jesus is also the coming of judgment.
This could also explain why they are so easily led to believe that they are so special that they wouldn’t see the tribulations that are not to come, but are actually here.
Open Your Eyes: Tribulation Is Now
-
Do we not understand that we are right now looking at the work of many anti-Christ as we watch video after video of people making fun of murder?
-
Do we not know that the beast has risen, and he is driving vehicles into churches?
-
Do we not see that the enemy has been released from his prison to fool even the elect if possible?
He’s at work in pulpits while pastors say good ridden to a man of God whose testimony was that he loved God and the ways of God so much that he went out into the world to challenge them on their sins and life choices. Not one of those preachers has repented. They were too angry at a man they had never met to watch his memorial and see that his life and death sparked a revival. They spoke horribly about a man of God based on the media and not on their own evidence. Those pastors broke the eighth commandment while in the pulpit, and the so-called people of God in the pews cheered and clapped while watching this. I would challenge you to go back and read 2nd Thessalonians and tell me, are we not seeing what it talks about right now? Their God is their culture, and their Christ is their complexion.
Instead of preaching to their church about the One who died for their sins, they are talking about a child of God who didn’t believe in different races while they (in the pulpit) rejoice at his death, calling him a racist. I would argue that they themselves were the racists.
Death Is Not a Celebration: The Church’s Call to Grieve, Not Rejoice
Death is never something to be celebrated, especially by the people of God. Scripture reminds us that death is an enemy, not a victory for those who cheer it on out of hatred or spite. “The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death” (1 Corinthians 15:26). To rejoice over the death of another—even someone like Charlie Kirk—is to stand against the heart of God, who says, “As I live, saith the Lord God, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live” (Ezekiel 33:11). When the church applauds death instead of grieving, it exchanges the compassion of Christ for the cruelty of the world. Every soul lost in death reminds us of the brokenness of sin, and our response should be mourning, prayer, and the proclamation of life in Christ—not clapping hands at a grave.
Stop Looking Into the Clouds
What do you think we are looking at here? Stop looking into the clouds and look around you. Stop waiting for a rapture and look for Christ.
We are living in the tribulations right now when we see a man in front of a crowd and his family being shot in the neck. There are no two-headed monsters. The two-headed monster is the church and the government.
These so-called pastors lie in the pulpits so much that only the elect can see the truth. The government protects those who do horrible evils to children for their own political power. This is the tribulation that John spoke about, and many are missing it.
The Real Question
But I go back to my first question. If many of you thought you were about to meet the risen Savior, why were you on your sofas making YouTube videos? Why weren’t you beating down the doors of your neighbors and those you loved to tell them what you believed you knew?
If you believed that more evil than what we are seeing right now was about to come upon them and that Jesus was about to take out his people, leaving them with no chance to hear the Gospel (since those who believed and could tell them would be gone). Then you are selfish, horrible, and evil. You would leave them in darkness while expecting to be saved?
Open Your Eyes and Take Action
We cannot sit back and hope someone else will warn the world. Every believer carries the responsibility to speak truth boldly, even when it’s unpopular. The enemy isn’t waiting, and neither should we. When deception spreads through pulpits and governments, silence makes us complicit. Now is the time to rise up, to call sin what it is, and to proclaim Christ without apology.
“For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.”
— Matthew 24:24 (KJV)
We are in the tribulation. The question is not whether you’ll escape it, but whether you’ll stand faithful in it.
