The Time You Are Waiting for Is Here!
Charlie Kirk Lies Exposed & End Times Prophecy | Christians Deceived in the Last Days
For decades, Christians have watched movies like Left Behind, imagining what the “end times” would look like. One of the most striking scenes shows a man standing before the world, telling boldfaced lies. To the Christian characters, those lies are obvious, but the world swallows them whole. For many, it was easy to dismiss this as fiction — something to be feared in the distant future.
But look around. Isn’t that exactly what we are seeing right now?
The Lies About Charlie Kirk
In the wake of Charlie Kirk’s death, the internet has been flooded with accusations. Many ask, Was Charlie Kirk racist? The question itself reveals the deception at work, because the evidence shows the opposite. He had black friends, black employees, and he consistently preached against violence. His work and his life stand in stark contrast to the lies being spread.
Yet the world believes the accusations without proof. Social media is full of people repeating them as if they were fact. Even worse, pastors are standing in pulpits — the very place where God’s Word should be proclaimed — and echoing the same falsehoods.
Calling Good Evil and Evil Good
The prophet Isaiah spoke a clear warning thousands of years ago: “Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness” (Isaiah 5:20). We are living in that reality. Good men are smeared as evil, and evil speech is praised as courageous.
Jesus added His own warning: “Many false prophets will rise up and deceive many” (Matthew 24:11). Notice He didn’t say a few — He said many. And today, even those who think they know God cannot always discern the difference between lies and truth.
Deaf, Dumb, and Blind
The Scriptures describe this condition repeatedly.
-
“Hear now this, O foolish people, without understanding, who have eyes and see not, and who have ears and hear not” (Jeremiah 5:21).
-
“Son of man, you dwell in the midst of a rebellious house, which has eyes to see but does not see, and ears to hear but does not hear” (Ezekiel 12:2).
This is what we see today: people unable — or unwilling — to recognize truth even when it stands in front of them. They are spiritually deaf, dumb, and blind.
The Son of Perdition in the Pulpit
Paul also warned about this deception. “That day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God … so that he as God sits in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God” (2 Thessalonians 2:3–4).
The “temple” is not just a building of stone — today it is the pulpit, the church, the sacred place where God’s Word should dwell. When pastors use that place to repeat lies about Charlie Kirk, they are allowing the spirit of the son of perdition to stand where he should not be.
The Time Is Not Coming — It Is Here
Some Christians have been taught that they will escape these trials through a rapture. But Scripture never promises that. The truth is, we will be here to see these events unfold. The deception, the falling away, the false prophets, the blindness of even those who claim to follow God — these are not previews of a future event. They are our present reality.
This is exactly what it means to see Christians deceived in the last days. It’s not an event far in the distance — it’s happening right now, as truth is traded for lies and many follow after false voices.
Stand Firm in the Truth
As believers, our calling is not to hide or to hope for escape, but to stand firm in the truth of God’s Word. Jesus said, “He who endures to the end will be saved” (Matthew 24:13). Endurance is our calling. Courage is our duty. Truth is our weapon.
The world may continue to ask, Was Charlie Kirk racist? And deceived voices may continue to claim so, despite the evidence. But Scripture told us in advance that this inversion of truth would happen.
And sadly, we will continue to see more Christians deceived in the last days if they do not anchor themselves in God’s Word.
I explore this in more detail in my book, where I show how Scripture makes clear that there is no rapture, and that Christians must be ready to live through these events. Prophecy is not “coming soon.” It has already arrived.
Remembering Charlie
Even as we confront the lies and deception around us, we do not mourn as the world does. We know where Charlie is. His faith was in Jesus, and now he is home with Him. Pray for his family, but not as if Charlie is gone forever. He will return with Christ on that last day, and we will see him again.
Pray also for the world — that Charlie’s legacy will go on for generations to come. Let us remember him for the Christ follower he was, and boldly tell the world the truth about Charlie Kirk.
